Spanish teaching course: linguistic skills

This is a general course on teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language and it covers the first stage of development of teaching competence.

It is aimed at those interested in starting to teach Spanish professionally. Participants will acquire the basic knowledge, skills, techniques, and tools needed to start teaching. Methodological and didactic aspects of language skills will be covered by the course in an individual and integrated way. Participants will acquire the basic knowledge, skills, techniques, and tools needed to help their students to successfully develop the different skills. 

The main aspects of the course are:

• Reading comprehension.


• Written expression.


• Integration of the four skills.

As you may already know the course is open all year, it is online and it lasts 10 hours. It is divided into five modules or lessons specifically designed to facilitate the student´s understanding of the content. Each module provides examples that enrich the content and illustrate the dynamics of learning in a classroom. 

The entire course is done on a computer application that allows the course content to be downloaded and that gives access to a messaging service with your tutor so that you can ask questions and for clarification. You will find the course content, both lessons and practicals, and an intuitive communication system with your tutor in the Web application. You will find activities that you can do at your own pace in the practical area and you can ask the teacher if you have any doubts.
